English Division
Dear Students,
1. The review of specimens before the practical examination will take place on August 31 – September 1, 2026 (Monday-Tuesday), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Protective clothing (lab coat, cap or headscarf, and indoor footwear) is required while viewing the specimens.
2. The retake of outstanding mid-term tests will take place on September 2, 2026 (Wednesday) at 9:00 AM in the Department of Normal Anatomy.
3. The practical retake examination for full-time and part-time medical students, as well as students of the English Division programme, will be held in the Dissecting Room of the Department of Normal Anatomy on September 3, 2026 (Thursday), from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
4. The theoretical retake examination for full-time and part-time medical students, as well as students of the English-Division programme, will be held on September 4, 2026 (Friday) at 9:00 AM in Auditorium 14A, 1 Łukasiewicza Street.
Important Information
1. Passing all mid-term tests required by the curriculum is a prerequisite for admission to the examination.
2. Please bring a black pen and correction fluid to the examination.
3. Students must present a valid student ID card or another valid identity card before the examination.
4. During examinations, the use of any electronic devices capable of storing data or enabling remote communication (including mobile phones, computers, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, cameras, headphones, microphones, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Devices enabling copying, scanning, recording, or transmitting content are also prohibited. The only exception applies to computers, laptops, or tablets provided by the University when an examination is conducted using such equipment. The use of unauthorized materials, software, or assistance from third parties is also prohibited.
5. Any indication that a student is in possession of prohibited devices or materials, or the discovery of such devices during the examination, will result in an automatic failing grade.
6. Such cases may also be referred to the Student Disciplinary Committee.
7. Examination materials, including the answer sheet and the test booklet, remain the property of the Department of Normal Anatomy and must not be removed from the examination room.
ANNOUNCEMENT
In light of concerning media reports regarding students’ behavior in the Dissection Room and existing regulations, we remind all students of the absolute prohibition on the use of mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, and any other recording devices in the Dissection Room.
According to point 21 of the Department Regulations, signed by students on the first day of studies at CM UMK:
“It is strictly forbidden to take photographs and/or record videos using any electronic device equipped with a camera. The recording of audio (e.g., using voice recorders) is also prohibited.”
We emphasize that violating these rules may constitute a criminal offense under Article 262 § 2 of the Penal Code, which provides penalties for desecration of human remains or a burial site.
Additionally, starting from March 17, 2025, a new rule will apply – all educational materials (notes, atlases, etc.) may only be used in printed (analog) form, not digital. The Department will provide its own collections for use during classes in the Dissection Room.
Violating these rules will be considered a serious breach of professional ethics and will result in consequences under the Study Regulations and applicable legal provisions.
